: Labtron provides a variety of biosafety cabinets, including Class II A2 and B2 Standard models, as well as Vertical and Horizontal Laminar Air-flow options, PCR Cabinets, and Chemical Storage Cabinets. In a Class II cabinet, the inflowing and outflowing air is passed through HEPA filtration before being released into the surrounding environment. There is no internal recirculation of air. Because there is no air recirculation inside the cabinet, working with dangerous chemicals that are used as an adjunct to microbiological processes is permissible in a laboratory cabinet under any and all situations. Because the total exhaust feature serves as a fail-safe in the event that the down flow and/or exhaust HEPA filtration systems fail to function normally, our cabinets may be considered to be the safest of all Class II biological safety cabinets. This is because of the fact that the total exhaust feature is included. It also features an LCD screen with a touch control panel and an ergonomic design. These products have received certification from NSF/ANSI49, demonstrating that they do not pose any health risks to users.
